A well-established and growing MSP based in Huddersfield is looking for a technically strong and client-focused Senior Service Desk Technician to join their close-knit service desk team of 5. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid 2nd/3rd line experience who wants real variety, ownership of complex tickets, and a genuine route to develop within a stable, respected MSP.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Deliver 2nd/3rd line support resolving escalated tickets from the wider service desk.
- Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365.
- Support and maintain Hyper-V virtualised infrastructure.
- Configure and manage networking equipment, with a focus on WatchGuard and Draytek firewalls.
- Support LAN/WAN setups, VPNs, Wi-Fi solutions, and general network infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain client infrastructure via RMM platforms, including patching and backup verification.
- Support Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware tooling, with exposure to SentinelOne beneficial.
- Provide support across Windows and Mac environments (Mac exposure a bonus).
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting, and mentor junior members of the service desk where needed.
