Senior Maintenance Technician 3 Shift Pattern (8 Hour Shifts) Salary c£43,000 plus shift supplements Are you an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician looking to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting a Senior Maintenance Technician to join our client's distribution centre based in Wakefield. This position is ideal for someone already working as a Senior Maintenance Technician or an individual looking to take the next step in their career. You will need to have an electrical bias and previous experience in an Automated Distribution Centre is preferred but not essential. Working with the wider Engineering Team, you will be involved in maintaining and improving a variety of automated equipment such as conveyors, high-speed packaging machinery, automated retrieval systems, palletisers and many more. You will be involved in both preventative and reactive maintenance activities to ensure downtime is kept to a minimum. This is a key role in the business, and you will manage the maintenance operations of the facility ensuring equipment reliability, minimising downtime and maximising efficiency. Key Responsibilities for a Senior Maintenance Technician Perform routine preventative and reactive maintenance System testing, field wiring, system calibration, interpreting circuit diagrams Knowledge of automated, electrical and pneumatics machinery Qualifications, Skills and Experience for a Senior Maintenance Technician Minimum Level 3 qualification Electrical Qualification Technical department experience especially in maintenance A solid understanding of Health and Safety policies Technical knowledge of electrical/pneumatic/mechanical equipment Both Electrical and Mechanical skills Root cause analysis skill Salary and Benefits of a Senior Maintenance Technician Salary c£43,000 plus shift supplements 3 Shift Pattern (Mornings, Afternoons, Nights) 22 Days Holiday Pension Development and training For more information about the Senior Maintenance Technicians role please give the team a call Dannie on
