Are you a qualified Accountant or actively studying CCAB qualification with substantial experience in financial management.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Finance Team as a Senior Management Accountant, in our newly structured Finance Team.
Based at the James Cook University Hospital, with the flexibility of hybrid working, the role will support the Finance Business Partner in the overall financial management of a clinical collaborative, providing support to service managers and clinicians as well as overseeing the monthly financial reporting process.
To undertake this role the ideal candidate will be a CCAB qualified accountant. You will be have excellent communication and IT skills, be ambitious, and have strong analytical skills.

Main duties of the job
We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Management Accountant to join our Financial management team which offers the flexibility of hybrid working.
Responsible for detailed review and reporting of the accounting of the month end position.
Produce accurate monthly forecasting in collaboration with budget holders and provide challenge to improve outcomes using financial and collaborative service knowledge.
Deliver financial literacy training to non finance staff.
Use of PLICS and other sources to drive efficiencies.
Provide robust financial data and advice to support business cases.
Assist your FBP in identifying CIP opportunities.
Deputise for the Finance Business Partner.
Development and Training of finance staff.
