Job summary

Package Description: Agincare is looking for a talented and fully qualified Senior Management Accountant to play a pivotal role in our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fastpaced environment and wants to make a meaningful impact across a growing organisation. Working between our Poole and Portland offices, youll provide highquality financial analysis, support strategic decisionmaking, and oversee the delivery of management accounting activities. Youll work closely with the Senior Accountant and lead the work of our Management Accountants, helping to drive accuracy, insight, and continuous improvement across the function. What youll be doing Managing the monthend process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations Producing detailed variance analysis and clear explanations for performance movements Preparing monthly financial performance reports, KPIs, and adhoc analysis for senior stakeholders Supporting and mentoring junior accounting staff, helping to develop capability and best practice Collaborating with department heads on budgeti

Working between our Poole and Portland offices, youll provide high-quality financial analysis, support strategic decision-making, and oversee the delivery of management accounting activities. Youll work closely with the Senior Accountant and lead the work of our Management Accountants, helping to drive accuracy, insight, and continuous improvement across the function. You will be managing the month-end process, producing variance analysis, preparing financial reports, and supporting junior staff among other responsibilities. We require a fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA with 23 years experience in management accounting and experience in a senior or supervisory role. Strong analytical skills and proficiency with financial systems are essential.

What youll be doing

What were looking for
  • Fully qualified ACCA, ACA, or CIMA

  • 23 years experience in management accounting

  • Experience in a senior or supervisory role

  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail

  • Proficiency with financial systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills

  • Confident communicator able to present financial information to nonfinancial colleagues

  • Highly organised, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • A collaborative, professional approach and commitment to high standards
