Senior MEP Quantity SurveyorLocation: Blyth, North East EnglandSector: Data Centres / Mission CriticalProject: £10bn Hyperscale Data Centre CampusOur client is a leading international main contractor delivering some of Europe's most advanced hyperscale and mission-critical data centre developments.

They are seeking an experienced Senior MEP Quantity Surveyor to join the commercial delivery team on a landmark £10bn hyperscale data centre campus in Blyth, North East England.

This flagship development, one of the largest data centre campuses in Europe, will be delivered over the next decade and represents one of the UK's most significant infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the commercial management of complex MEP packages, ensuring robust cost control, contract compliance and strong commercial performance throughout the project lifecycle.Working closely with Commercial Managers, Project Directors, MEP teams, subcontractors, suppliers and client representatives, you will manage valuations, procurement, variations, change control and subcontract accounts across major mechanical and electrical packages within a fast-paced mission-critical environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the commercial delivery of MEP packages across the full project lifecyclePrepare and review valuations, payment applications and variation accountsManage subcontractor accounts, procurement and contractual obligationsMonitor project costs, budgets, forecasts and commercial reportingSupport the procurement and negotiation of specialist MEP subcontract packagesIdentify, assess and manage commercial risks, opportunities and changeEnsure compliance with contract requirements and commercial proceduresWork closely with engineering and delivery teams to align scope, cost and programmeManage change control, compensation events, claims and commercial negotiationsLiaise with clients, consultants and subcontractors on commercial mattersProduce monthly cost reports, forecasts and financial reviewsSupport junior commercial team members and contribute to best practice across the projectRequirementsProven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor with strong MEP exposurePrevious experience working for a main contractor delivering large-scale data centres, mission-critical, industrial or complex commercial projectsStrong technical understanding of mechanical and electrical building servicesExperience managing large subcontract packages and complex commercial interfacesGood knowledge of construction contracts, valuations, procurement and cost controlStrong negotiation, xwzovoh analytical and stakeholder management skillsDegree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or a related disciplineExperience working within large multidisciplinary project environmentsStrong understanding of project controls, reporting and commercial governancePackageHighly competitive salary + comprehensive packageRotation / Accommodation / Living allowance / Travel allowanceBonus / Car allowance / Private healthcare / Enhanced pension / Life assuranceLong-term opportunity on one of Europe's largest hyperscale data centre developmentsThis is an outstanding opportunity to join one of the UK's most significant construction programmes and play a key commercial role in delivering a landmark £10bn, 10-year hyperscale data centre campus .
