Then keep reading – Cadeler is looking for a Senior Operations & Project Manager for our Scour Protection services with your skills and experience!
Cadeler is a global partner in the offshore wind industry, specializing in wind farm construction and maintenance. We are part of an industry that is now, more than ever, both relevant and plays a critical role in the energy transition with a strong long-term outlook. As our industry continues to develop, so do we! We are now looking for a Senior Operations & Project Manager to help develop our scour protection capabilities, from vessel development and operational methodologies to project execution.
What will you do?
As our new Senior Operations & Project Manager, you will play a key role in developing and delivering Cadeler’s scour protection activities. You will bring practical offshore and operational expertise into the development of our scour protection vessel, while also establishing and leading the teams and methodologies needed to execute future projects successfully.
Your main tasks include:
* Support the design and development of our scour protection vessel, providing practical operational input into vessel design, mission equipment, stone handling, fallpipe and survey systems.
* Develop and validate installation methodologies, operational procedures, vessel loading strategies and best practices for scour protection and rock placement activities.
* Establish and lead project teams across Project Management, Package Management, Survey and Planning, ensuring the right resources and competencies are in place.
* Drive successful project execution with a strong focus on HSE, quality, budget, schedule and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
* Provide operational expertise on vessel productivity, weather limitations, cycle times, production rates and downtime assumptions for project planning and tendering.
* Support Sales and tender teams by reviewing client requirements and providing operational input into tender strategies, methodologies, execution plans and project risk.
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with relevant industry partners, subcontractors, manufacturers and other stakeholders.
To succeed in this role
Being part of the Cadeler community means you will have a natural interest and care for the environment and our shared mission to speed up the green energy transition. Your environmental considerations and the safety of our people and the planet will be a key priority in your daily work.
We are looking for an experienced professional who combines strong technical and operational knowledge with solid project leadership skills. You are comfortable working with complex offshore operations, bringing structure to new activities and translating hands-on experience into practical solutions.
We think you will be a good match if you:
* Hold a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil, mechanical or maritime engineering, or have an equivalent relevant technical background.
* Bring 5–7 years of project management experience, including at least 3 years within relevant offshore wind projects and experience leading projects through planning, mobilisation, execution and close-out.
* Have a strong understanding of offshore project delivery and practical experience working offshore or with installation vessels.
* Ideally bring direct experience with scour protection or rock installation, whether from project management, vessel operations, marine representation or a similar operational role.
* Have strong leadership and organisational skills and are comfortable building and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams in changing environments.
* Communicate confidently with clients and internal stakeholders, are fluent in written and spoken English and are willing to travel as required.
