An initial six-month contract Hybrid working with 3 days a week onsite in Glasgow (Edinburgh offices are also available) £375
- £400 a day Working closely with the Head of Procurement, you'll manage low-value sourcing exercises, provide expert procurement advice to stakeholders, support regulated procurement's, and help drive continuous improvement across procurement processes, systems, and supplier management. Key Responsibilities: Advise stakeholders, including senior leaders, on sourcing strategies, procurement best practice, and supplier management. Support the delivery of regulated procurement exercises and wider commercial activities. Maintain and improve the contract register, procurement records, and audit documentation. Conduct spend analysis, administer procurement templates, and manage procurement-related enquiries. Negotiate supplier terms and contracts in line with organisational risk and compliance requirements. About You: Proven experience delivering end-to-end procurement within a public sector environment. Strong knowledge of public procurement legislation, frameworks, and the Public Contracts Scotland (PCS) portal. Demonstrable ability to achieve value for money and manage supplier and third-party risks effectively. Experience procuring a broad range of goods and services.
