* An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Project Manager to join a major Future Combat Air programme, working on one of the most ambitious and challenging programmes within the UK Defence sector.

This is a bid-focused role where you will play a key part in developing and delivering innovative, compelling and commercially viable propositions, working closely with stakeholders across Sales & Business Development, Programmes, Technical and Finance.

The Role You will be responsible for supporting a portfolio of concurrent and future bidding activities, helping to develop business cases, shape product strategies and ensure bids are delivered to a high standard.

The role will involve: Managing and contributing to technically complex bids and business-winning activities.

Developing Product Business Cases to maximise the probability of bid success.

Supporting product roadmaps, investment strategies and long-term business planning.

Working closely with internal and external stakeholders across a complex, international environment.

Responding effectively to changing customer requirements.

Championing effective project and bid management practices.

Managing multiple priorities and solving problems in real time within an evolving environment.

About You We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong ability to manage stakeholders, solve complex problems and deliver within challenging timescales.

You will ideally have: Experience in project management, contract acquisition or business delivery.

Direct experience managing or writing technical bids, ideally within an engineering or technology environment.

Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.

The ability to develop innovative solutions to challenging problems.

Experience working within complex and ambiguous environments.

A good understanding of the key considerations involved in successful bids.

Ideally, experience within the Defence sector.
