Senior Project Manager – Civils | Data Centre | Enfield Location: Enfield, London Sector: Data Centres / Civil Engineering Position: Senior Project Manager Employment: Permanent or Freelance We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join a major data centre project in Enfield, leading the civils delivery package from pre-construction through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with a strong civil engineering and infrastructure background who has experience delivering complex, high-value projects and working within demanding programme and quality requirements. The Role As Senior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of the civils package, managing site teams, subcontractors, programme, commercial performance, quality and health & safety. You will work closely with the wider project team to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required specification. Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of the civils package on a major data centre development Manage project teams, subcontractors and site operations Take ownership of programme, progress and project milestones Coordinate with the client, consultants and wider project team Manage project risks, variations and change Ensure works are delivered to the required quality standards Maintain strong health & safety standards across the project Monitor project performance against programme and budget Attend and lead project meetings Provide clear reporting to senior management and the client Drive the project through to successful completion About You The successful candidate will have: Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager / Project Manager within civil engineering Strong experience delivering major civils/infrastructure projects Experience working on data centre, industrial, commercial or similarly complex schemes would be highly advantageous Strong knowledge of groundworks, reinforced concrete, drainage, utilities and associated civils Experience managing subcontractors and multidisciplinary teams Strong programme and project management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities A strong focus on health, safety, quality and delivery Relevant construction/civil engineering qualifications
