Senior Quality Engineer
Salary: £45,000-£50,000 per annum (DOE)
First Achieve Engineering Recruitment are delighted to be supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer in the recruitment of an experienced Senior Quality Engineer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established business, playing a key role in maintaining quality standards, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance within a highly regulated aerospace environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO9001 and customer requirements.
- Lead investigations into non-conformances, CAPAs and root cause analysis.
- Review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
- Support internal, external and customer audits.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support supplier quality activities.
About You
- Previous Quality Engineering experience within aerospace or a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of AS9100 and quality management systems.
- Experience with FAIRs, NCRs, CAPA and root cause analysis.
- Able to interpret engineering drawings.
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
