Senior Quantity Surveyor (Contract)

I'm currently working with a well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor that's looking to appoint an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong reputation in the residential infrastructure sector, delivering a wide range of groundworks and civil engineering packages for leading housebuilders across the South. Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you'll play a key role across both estimating and quantity surveying, supporting projects from tender stage through to final account. Preparing competitive estimates and tender submissions for residential groundworks projects Managing project costs, valuations and variations Producing cost plans, forecasts and commercial reports Assisting with the agreement of final accounts and project change Building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal stakeholders At least 3 years' experience within quantity surveying Experience delivering groundworks or civil engineering projects Strong commercial awareness and excellent numerical skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Experience using Bluebeam or similar take-off software would be advantageous Competitive salary and benefits package Long-term career progression within a growing contractor Exposure to a varied portfolio of residential infrastructure projects Supportive and experienced commercial leadership Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality.
