Senior Quantity Surveyor

Skilled Careers are working with a rapidly growing property services business delivering repairs and maintenance, planned works, voids, compliance, retrofit and refurbishment services across the social housing sector. Due to continued growth and the development of its commercial function, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to take ownership of significant commercial responsibility while working closely with an experienced Commercial Manager and helping shape the future structure of the commercial team. Job Description Managing the commercial performance of property services contracts across repairs and maintenance, planned works, voids, refurbishment and associated works. Taking ownership of key commercial responsibilities, including cost control, forecasting, valuations, subcontractor management and overall contract performance. Supporting the development of the wider commercial team, including Project Quantity Surveyors, Trainee Quantity Surveyors and other junior commercial staff. Working closely with the Commercial Manager in Langley to strengthen commercial processes, systems and ways of working across a growing property services division.
