Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor | Hertfordshire | £80,000–£85,000 I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established Property Services team. This is a great opportunity for a commercially strong QS who is looking for a senior position with genuine responsibility, leadership and long-term stability. The successful candidate will be working across a long-term property services and refurbishment programme, taking responsibility for commercial performance while also supporting and developing a wider commercial team. The Role: You’ll take a lead role in the commercial management of the contract, working closely with operational teams, clients, subcontractors and the wider commercial function. Managing commercial performance across planned works and refurbishment Cost management, forecasting and commercial reporting Subcontractor procurement and management Valuations, payments and final accounts Contract administration and change management Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities Leading and supporting a team of QSs and Trainee QSs Working closely with operational teams to ensure projects are delivered commercially and efficiently What I’m Looking For: I’m particularly interested in speaking with experienced Senior Quantity Surveyors who have worked within: Property Services | Planned Maintenance | Social Housing | Refurbishment | Main Contracting | General Construction The business is looking for someone who can take ownership commercially, work independently and provide strong leadership to those around them.
