Job Description:
Senior Residential Support Practitioner – Children's Services
£14.50 - £15.00 per hour (DOE) + £50 per sleep-in
About Us:
360 Children's Residential Services delivers trauma-informed care for children and young people and is proud to be recognised as a Sunday Times Best Small Company to Work For 2026.
We are a growing, forward-thinking children’s residential care organisation with homes across the Southwest, London, and a brand-new multi-home provision in Durham. Our mission is powerful and clear: to help children aged 7–17 rebuild trust, confidence, and hope.
We work with young people who have experienced loss, instability, or trauma. We don’t define them by their past — we support them to step into their potential. Using trauma-informed, PACE-based practice, we create warm, stable homes where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to grow. This is meaningful work. This is change you can see happen.
The Role:
We're looking for an experienced Senior Residential Support Practitioner to help shape and grow our home.
You'll lead shifts, support and develop colleagues, and deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care that helps young people thrive. Working alongside the management team, you'll be a positive role model, contribute to team development, and support the supervision and progression of Residential Support Practitioners where delegated.
This role includes evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep-ins as part of a flexible shift pattern.
What We Offer:
£50 sleep-in payment
Enhanced rates for overtime, bank holidays, and festival periods
Free on-site parking
Blue Light Card
Wellness Allowance
Employee Assistance Programme
Birthday off every year
Referral bonus scheme
Additional annual leave with service
Supportive leadership team
Career progression opportunities
What We're Looking For:
Full UK Driving Licence
Minimum 2 years' experience working with children and young people in a residential setting
Level 3 Residential Childcare Diploma (or equivalent)
Experience leading shifts or supporting colleagues within a residential care environment
Strong communication and leadership skills
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Safeguarding:
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. All roles are subject to safer recruitment checks, including an Enhanced DBS check, full employment history and references.
In our safe havens, young people embrace their tomorrow with confidence
