Senior Site Engineer

A leading specialist contractor is looking to recruit 2 experienced Senior Engineers to support the delivery of two major hyperscale data centre developments. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business with over 40 years' experience delivering complex projects across the data centre, defence and energy sectors, working on one of London's most significant data centre schemes. What’s on offer * Permanent position with a well-established specialist contractor with over 40 years' industry experience * Opportunity to deliver one of London's largest hyperscale data centre developments * Excellent long-term career progression within a business experiencing continued growth across the UK What you will be doing * Leading the day-to-day engineering delivery of allocated project packages * Providing technical support and guidance to construction teams * Coordinating engineering activities to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with programme * Managing technical queries (RFIs), engineering documentation and project records * Coordinating design information, technical interfaces and temporary works * Supporting workface planning and ensuring engineering information is available ahead of construction activities * Identifying and resolving engineering constraints to maintain project progress * Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and quality standards * Supporting inspections, testing, NCRs and corrective actions * Monitoring engineering progress, reporting risks and contributing to successful project delivery What we are looking for * Experience delivering engineering activities on major construction or infrastructure projects * Strong understanding of construction methodologies and construction sequencing * Experience managing technical queries, engineering records and site coordination * Knowledge of temporary works coordination * Degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering * CSCS Manager Card If you're looking to join a business delivering some of the UK's most technically challenging projects while developing your career within a growing specialist contractor, we'd love to hear from you
