Based in Weybridge, Surrey and
operating
predominately in
London and the Southeast, we are looking to recruit an experienced, organised and driven Senior Solar Solutions Manager to work directly alongside our Technical Director.
This is a key position within our growing Solar and Battery Storage division. You will help manage projects from
initial
enquiry and survey through to installation,
commissioning
and final handover. You will be based in Surrey with travel to sites as required.
The role would suit someone who understands the solar industry, takes
ownership
and can confidently coordinate engineers, subcontractors,
suppliers
and clients.
We are looking for someone
who : Has experience within Solar PV, Battery
Storage
or electrical project delivery
Is experienced in solar stringing system design 5 years+
Understands Solar Edge, PV
Sol
or
Reonic
platforms (preferable)
Has experience of managing a CRM
Has experience and a background in electrical contracting
Has strong organisational and project-management skills
Can manage several projects and priorities simultaneously
Communicates confidently with clients,
engineers
and suppliers
Is commercially aware and understands project costs and margins
Takes responsibility and
remains
calm under pressure
Has excellent attention to detail
Is customer centric focused
Is comfortable working independently and making decisions
Holds a full UK driving licence
Holds full electrical qualifications (Gold card or equivalent) along with Solar PV / EESS qualifications (C&G/BPEC/LCL/EAL)
Has knowledge of MCS processes
( highly
advantageous
)
Key responsibilities: Supporting the Technical Director with the daily running of the department
Planning and coordinating Solar PV and Battery Storage installations
Reviewing surveys, designs,
quotations
and project requirements
Organising labour, materials, access
equipment
and subcontractors
Monitoring project programmes,
costs
and profitability
Ensuring installations
comply with
MCS requirements, BS
7671
and company standards
Managing DNO applications, commissioning
information
and handover documentation
Liaising professionally with clients,
consultants
and suppliers
Attending site meetings and carrying out progress inspections
Identifying
and resolving issues before they affect delivery
Supporting the continued growth and development of the Solar division
