Senior Solicitor

AJ Chambers are working with a leading national law firm to recruit a Senior Solicitor / Principal Associate to join its highly regarded Insurance team in London.

Key Areas of Work:

• Complex insurance coverage disputes
• Defence litigation for insurers and reinsurers
• Reinsurance disputes and advisory work
• Policy coverage, interpretation and wording advice
• International claims involving foreign jurisdictions and local counsel
• Client relationship management and business development
• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Solicitor with 6+ years' PQE in insurance law
• Strong experience in insurance litigation, policy coverage and defence work
• Proven expertise in reinsurance disputes and advisory matters
• Excellent understanding of the London Market and commercial insurance policies
• Strong legal drafting, analytical and communication skills
• Experience supervising and mentoring junior lawyers
• Commercially minded with a client-focused approach and an interest in business development
• Able to manage a varied caseload and work effectively under pressure
