Baxendale Mason is recruiting for an exceptional Senior Sous Chef to join an ambitious restaurant at an incredibly exciting stage of its development.

This is far more than a standard Senior Sous Chef position.

The business is embarking on a significant expansion which will include the opening of an exclusive 24-cover tasting-menu restaurant, with ambitions to achieve a Michelin Star, alongside the continued development of its existing restaurant and private dining offering.

The kitchen itself is also undergoing a substantial expansion, including the creation of an open kitchen, giving the brigade greater interaction with guests and the opportunity to talk confidently about the food they are producing.

We are looking for a Senior Sous Chef capable of becoming the Head Chef's genuine right hand.

You will support with the development and expansion of the food operation, lead the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence and be confident across all aspects of kitchen management.

The business has its own nearby farm, producing ingredients including vegetables, micro herbs, eggs and honey from its own beehives.
