Senior Speech and Language Therapist - Full Time (Contract)

Both sites deliver specialist 24-hour nursing and therapy services for people with complex long-term neurological conditions who require ongoing support and assistance to maximise functional ability. They specialise in slow stream rehabilitation where the emphasis is placed on maximising each individual's abilities, comfort and quality of life. There are also well-equipped therapy facilities and other facilities such as gardens, gym and minibus. You will lead group therapeutic group sessions, helping people develop and improve their speech and communication. Building one-to-one rapport with service users, you will encourage engagement and empower recovery. You will have experience in managing a designated caseload using theoretical and practical experience, completing assessments, planning, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes aligned to care plans.
