Senior Structural Engineer

MCS is delighted to be recruiting a Senior Structural Engineer for our client, to join their growing team. As an innovative and ambitious specialist design and fabrication company, this is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex structural engineering projects across the UK and Europe while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of structural engineering projects
• Produce structural calculations in line with relevant codes and standards
• Prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations and technical documentation
• Manage project budgets, programmes and client relationships
• Liaise with clients, architects and project stakeholders
• Review work completed by junior engineers and provide technical support
• Drive continuous improvement of engineering standards and processes
• Support business development through technical proposals and client engagement

About You

• Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or a related discipline
• Professional Engineer (PE) Licence or Chartered status
• 5+ years' structural engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles and engineering standards
• Excellent project management, communication and problem-solving skills
• Experience using structural analysis and design software
