We are currently looking for a number of senior support workers across south wales to join one our national children provider clients and need you! Key Responsibilities Direct Care: Provide trauma-informed, person-centered support in a therapeutic children's residential setting.
Leadership: Assist the home manager in mentoring support workers, leading shifts, and ensuring high standards of care.
Safeguarding: Protect young people from harm and strictly adhere to child protection procedures.
Administration: Assist with shift planning, accurate record-keeping, and care plan reviews.
Community Engagement: Facilitate leisure and educational activities to help young people build life skills.
[ 1 , 2 , 3 ] Requirements Qualifications: Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent in Health & Social Care).
Experience: Previous experience working in a residential care setting with children or vulnerable individuals.
Licensing: A full, manual UK driving license is strictly required.
Competencies: Strong resilience, communication skills, and an open-minded approach to therapeutic care.
