Senior Support Worker About the role We're looking for a caring Senior Support Worker to join MacIntyre and help us deliver an excellent quality of life for the people we support. You'll play a hands-on, senior role within the team, supporting people with their person-centred plans, personal care and daily lives, while also helping to coach, mentor and supervise colleagues. You'll be a role model for great practice, stepping up in the absence of the Frontline or Deputy Manager and making sure the people we support always come first. Celebrates each person's unique gifts, talents and contributions Invests in your development, from vocational qualifications to ongoing coaching and support Supporting people with personal care, medication, wellbeing and daily living, in line with their person-centred plans Helping people build relationships and take part in their local community Coaching, mentoring and supervising support staff, and supporting new starters through their induction Contributing to risk assessments, rotas and day-to-day quality of the service At least 1 year's experience working with people with learning disabilities, autism, or in a related field A genuine commitment to person-centred, co-produced support Confident supervising, coaching and mentoring others A current driving licence Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, waking nights and bank holidays as required As a Senior Support Worker, you will manage staff rotas and mentor, train and coach your team. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards and our own processes and procedures.
