Senior Support worker Residential across multiply sites Children's Services Job description A number of large, leading Mental Health Hospitals and Homes in Cardiff and surrounding areas are on the hunt for talented Mental Health Support Workers for an immediate start! We have a number of positions available Full and Part Time, which will be for on-going support in the local area. As a Support Worker you will Support individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions to lead a good quality of life whilst achieving positive outcomes along the way. Assist individuals to learn new skills. Understand medication procedures. Understand safeguarding policies and procedures. Work as part of a team of dedicated, qualified and capable staff team who put the people living here at the heart of what we do. Full Free Training provided to all candidates 8/10/12 hour shifts available

The Candidate: What youll need to be successful as a Mental Health Support Worker ? A desire to create positive outcomes for adults with Mental Health issues ? Empathetic, caring and resilient nature ? At least 3 months experience of working within a healthcare setting in the UK ? Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or are willing to obtain one and a NVQ level 3 health and social care. ?
