We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable independent automotive workshop in West Bromwich, seeking a skilled Senior Vehicle Technician.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to work within a busy, well-equipped facility, handling complex mechanical repairs across a variety of makes and models.
Benefits:
Competitive basic salary between £40,000 and £50,000, depending on experience

Stable working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with alternating Saturday mornings

Carrying out timing chain replacements, clutch replacements, and turbo repairs
Undertaking engine rebuilds and major mechanical repairs
Servicing and maintaining various vehicle systems
Conducting fault diagnosis and mechanical troubleshooting
Performing gearbox, drivetrain, suspension, and brake repairs
General vehicle servicing and strip-down repairs
Working on a broad range of vehicle makes and models, ensuring high standards of workThe Senior Vehicle Technician role demands technical expertise and a methodical approach to repair work. Requirements:
Extensive experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician, with a focus on mechanical repairs
Proven competency with timing chains, clutches, engine work, turbos, and gearboxes
Strong mechanical aptitude with a detail-oriented approach
Ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical faults efficiently
Prior experience working in a busy workshop environment
Electrical and diagnostic skills are advantageous but not essential
