An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Serious Injury Solicitor (2-4 PQE) to join the Manchester office of a leading UK law firm within its highly regarded Serious Injury team.

The Team

The Serious Injury department represents claimants and their families following life-changing injuries, including traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and amputations. The team is recognised for its client-first approach, with a strong emphasis on early rehabilitation and long-term support to help clients rebuild their lives.

The Role

  • Preparing instructions to experts and counsel
  • Attending court hearings (in person and remotely)
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, their families and third-party professionals
  • Depending on experience, there may be scope to manage your own caseload of lower value, less complex Multi-Track matters.
  • You will be well supported through regular supervision and guidance, making this an ideal role for someone looking to build a long-term career in catastrophic injury work.

About You

  • Experience handling or assisting on claimant catastrophic injury matters
  • Strong understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and relevant protocols
