We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a reputable franchise-approved car dealership in Cardiff, for an experienced Vehicle Service Advisor. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to join a well-established dealership with long-term career prospects.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:30pm, with 1 in 3 Saturday mornings, 8:30am to 1:00pm.
Duties of a Service Advisor:
- Manage customer expectations by providing exemplary service and communication.
- Liaise with the workshop to track work-in-progress, ensuring timely updates for customers.
- Handle between 10-28 customer interactions daily at a busy dealership as a Service Advisor.
- Upsell additional products and services to maximise customer satisfaction and department revenue.
- Allocate tasks efficiently among team members, supporting a collaborative working environment.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records using dealership management systems, ideally with experience in Keyloop.
- Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and personable communication.
- Work closely with the Service Manager and fellow advisors to achieve department goals.
Requirements of a Service Advisor:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- IT literacy, preferably with experience using Keyloop or similar dealership management software.
- Ability to deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
- Full UK driving licence with minimal points.
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to customer engagement.
