Service Advisor Location: Southampton Up to £38,000 Basic Salary (DOE) Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm Every Other Saturday, 8:00am - 12:00pm Full Time | Permanent A leading commercial vehicle dealership in Southampton is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join their busy and successful aftersales team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Advisor with experience in the commercial vehicle, truck, HGV, bus, coach, or automotive sectors who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities ·Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout the service and repair process. ·Booking vehicles into the workshop for servicing, maintenance, and repairs. ·Preparing job cards and accurately recording customer requirements. ·Providing updates on vehicle progress and communicating any additional work required. ·Liaising closely with workshop staff to ensure efficient workflow and turnaround times. ·Raising estimates, invoices, and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. ·Delivering a high standard of customer service at all times. Requirements ·Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a commercial vehicle, HGV, PSV, truck, or automotive dealership environment. ·Strong customer service and communication skills. ·Excellent organisational and administrative abilities. ·Ability to work effectively in a busy workshop environment. ·Good IT and system skills. ·Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
