Were recruiting for an established materials-handling business looking to add another engineer across the Milton Keynes / Sandy area .
This could suit someone already working with forklifts, but were equally interested in engineers from plant, agricultural machinery, powered access, HGV or similar mobile equipment backgrounds who have strong mechanical and hydraulic fault-finding skills.
The Role
Youll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing equipment across customer sites within your territory.
Typical responsibilities will include:
Planned servicing and preventative maintenance Reactive breakdowns and fault diagnosis Mechanical and hydraulic repairs Electrical fault-finding Diagnosing and repairing engines and associated systems Completing service documentation Managing your own workload across customer sites Providing a professional, customer-focused service
What Were Looking For
Previous experience within one or more of the following would be particularly relevant:
Forklifts / materials handling Mobile plant Agricultural machinery Powered access HGVs Construction equipment Similar mechanical field-service environments
You should be comfortable fault-finding independently and have good practical knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic systems. Previous forklift experience would be advantageous but is not essential where you have transferable mobile engineering experience.
Package
£30-38k + Overtime Monday to Friday Daytime working hours Company vehicle Overtime available Product-specific training provided
Location The role would suit someone based around:
Milton Keynes, Sandy, Bedford, Biggleswade, Newport Pagnell, Bletchley or surrounding areas.
