Our client is expanding and is looking for a hands-on, customer-focused engineer to join their growing team. If you're mechanically and/or electrically skilled, enjoy fault finding, and prefer being out on the road rather than stuck in a factory, we'd love to hear from you. Working across predominantly domestic residential properties, you'll service, repair and maintain sewage treatment plants, pumps and wastewater systems, while also supporting the replacement of outdated septic tanks with modern, environmentally compliant treatment systems. What You'll Be Doing Servicing, maintaining and repairing sewage treatment plants, pumps and wastewater systems. Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults. Carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs. Replacing older septic tank systems with modern treatment plant technology. Building strong relationships with customers and providing excellent on-site service. Managing your own schedule and workload across multiple sites. Completing reports and maintaining accurate job records via mobile applications. What We're Looking For Experience in wastewater, pumps, drainage, utilities or a similar engineering environment. Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills. Ability to work independently and solve problems on-site. Excellent customer-facing and communication skills. Full UK Driving Licence. Positive attitude and willingness to learn.Desirable Qualifications 17th, 18th or 19th Edition Electrical Qualification. CSCS Card. Confined Spaces Certification.
