This is a permanent role and it sits in the Legal, Governance and Compliance department. There are four direct reports into this role; the managers for the various functions of the team, which are Democratic Services, Risk and Compliance, Information Governance and Strategic Governance. About the role Responsibilities will include: Shape, lead and manage the delivery of a customer focused, high performing and pro-active Governance, Compliance and Risk Service ensuring that the service is efficient, effective and delivers value for money. Ensuring effective corporate governance and risk management is embedded at all levels of the Authority in order to deliver the Combined Authority's priorities in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
