Job summary
An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Public Health Service Manager to manage our wellness service across Bath and Northeast Somerset. This role requires you to be responsible and accountable for the successful delivery of the Banes service. This is a critical role to ensure the successful implementation, management, development and continuous improvement of this exciting service.
You will lead a multi-disciplinary team in locations across Bath and Northeast Somerset to help improve the health and wellbeing of local communities through delivery of dynamic and integrated solutions.

Community engagement responsibilities to raise awareness of the service within the local community.
Attending and facilitating network meeting with the community partnership board stakeholders, commissioner meetings and any other meetings required that may be in person or online.
Report writing skills and data interpretation skills
You should have an outstanding record, excellent communication skills, a focus on detail and quality and ideally have achieved a relevant Public health related degree level qualification.

The Wellness Service Manager will provide co-ordination, facilitation, co-production and implement delivery processes to lead the team to facilitate helping people to access health and wellbeing opportunities in B&NES.

Triage Service

Wellbeing Coach Service

Outreach NHS & CVD Health Checks
Physical Activity Service
Training and Workforce Development
Volunteer Brokerage Service
Hypertension Service
Use best practice and innovation to achieve high quality, excellent patient/client services working in line with the B&NES Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
Secure best value for money in delivery and continuous improvement in the provision of services to achieve Everyone Healths corporate and business objectives.
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIESResponsible and accountable for:
Planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of the Wellness Service in line with the tendered B&NES Service submission and contract.
To deliver the service within budget and to maximise resources available, adding value to the service wherever possible.
Line manage three Community Engagement Insight Leads/Co-ordinators.
Manage the leadership of a dynamic team: Stop Smoking Practitioners, Wellbeing Coaches, Emotional Wellbeing Coaches and Virtual Behaviour Change practitioners, providing strong leadership skills to support, motivate and inspire colleagues to take ownership of service delivery and empower patients/clients to adopt healthier lifestyles.
Coordinate the recruitment and management of staff, ensuring training and development needs are assessed, appropriate training is provided, and professional registration is maintained through provision of CPD.
Ensure service delivery is innovatively integrated across all services, county-wide, through application of evidence-based practice which is reflective of key national guidance and recommendations.
Work with the Managing Director of Everyone Health, Clinical Governance Manager, Operational Leads and Management team to achieve continual service improvement and client/patient-centred services in accordance with participant feedback, NICE guidance, national and local recommendations, professional competences and EH policies and procedures, ensuring services are delivered in line with CQC and HSCICs regulations.
Ensure services are developed and delivered consistently across localities in B&NES, providing targeted approaches to specific community groups/individuals, adopting a variety of community engagement methodologies to establish and maintain relationships with individuals who are experiencing the greatest inequalities in health.
Ensure efficient and effective monitoring of contractual performance targets, including health outcomes and financial measures, providing data analysis and disseminating meaningful targets to all colleagues to ensure collective accountability for achievement of all indicators.
Monitor data collection practices, conduct regular audits and disseminate outcomes to the wider team, ensuring collective accountability for achievement of all indicators.
Rigorous monitoring and evaluation of service delivery and colleague performance, ensuring auditing processes are implemented accordingly to achieve continuous service improvement.
Use Microsoft Planner to project manage all projects.
Utilise Data Informatics Systems and other relevant systems, plus internal reporting procedures, to ensure data collection processes are robust and evidence service efficacy through excellent health outcome data, contributing to an internal qualitative and quantitative evidence base demonstrating best practice and value for money.
Contribute to the preparation and production of all written materials, including budgets, activity plans and quarterly reports, for the purpose of documenting contractual activity to both internal and external stakeholders and to the Managing Director.
Work face to face in B&NES to generate, establish and maintain strong and influential working relationships with key stakeholders, partners and commissioners, and represent Everyone Health locally, regionally and nationally as required.
Coordinate and support the production and delivery of a Marketing and Communications Plan reflective of social marketing principles, incorporating community, partnership and stakeholder engagement; ensure dissemination of appropriate marketing materials across the county to enable achievement of key performance indicators through highly effective community engagement methodologies.

- This post involves working with vulnerable adults and as such the post holder will be required to apply for a disclosure of criminal records at an enhanced level (DBS).
