Location: Shepton Mallet Salary: £34,505 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week Contract: Permanent Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Service Manager to lead their MOTS & SHAP services in Shepton Mallet. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate leader who is committed to delivering high-quality support services and empowering individuals to achieve positive outcomes. The Role As Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the service, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and person-centred support. You will lead and develop a team, monitor service performance, manage budgets and resources, and build strong partnerships with external organisations and stakeholders. You will play a key role in ensuring contractual requirements and quality standards are met while driving continuous improvement across the service. Key Responsibilities Lead, motivate and manage a team to deliver high-quality support services. Monitor and improve service performance against contractual targets and quality standards. Manage budgets and resources effectively. Support, coach and develop staff to achieve their full potential. Build and maintain positive relationships with partner agencies and stakeholders. Promote person-centred and trauma-informed approaches across the service. Participate in the on-call rota and respond to operational needs as required. About You The successful candidate will have: Experience managing teams within homelessness, housing, social care, or a related support service. Strong leadership, communication and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop others. Experience managing service performance, budgets and achieving quality standards and contractual targets. A commitment to delivering person-centred, trauma-informed support. The ability to build effective relationships with partners and stakeholders. A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle. Flexibility to participate in the on-call rota. Additional Information Regular travel between services and partner organisations may be required. Permanent position working 37.5 hours per week. Based in Shepton Mallet.
