They are looking for a Service Operations Manager to join their growing team.   Service Operations Manager   Permanent £55,000 – £75,000 (Dependent on experience) Monday – Fridaty 41.5 Hours (Flexible Start & Finish Time) Remote (Travel Across UK & Ireland Required)   Service Operations Manager Job Description Plan, schedule, and coordinate service activities, including maintenance, repairs, overhauls, and commissioning of drive and propulsions systems, auxiliary equipment. Ensure efficient allocation of service engineers and technical resources to meet customer needs and contractual obligations. Monitor and control costs, and profitability, ensuring adherence to financial policies. Develop and implement service procedures, workflows, and quality standards to optimize service delivery. Manage the inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring availability and utilization. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of service engineers and technicians, fostering a high-performance and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance reviews, identify training needs, and implement development plans for team members. Ensure team compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Serve as a critical point of contact for key customers, building strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Understand customer requirements, provide technical support and solutions, and effectively resolve service-related issues and complaints. Develop and present service proposals and reports internally and externally. Identify opportunities for service contract renewals, upgrades, and additional service offerings.  Service Operations Manager Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Experience in relevant industry, with a strong focus on service and maintenance of equipment. Proven experience in managing and leading technical service teams (Rail & Marine preferred). Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical drive systems and related technologies.
