Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking experienced Heavy Goods Engineers to join their expanding team. The Role As a Heavy Goods Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repair work on a range of heavy-duty machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment remains safe, compliant, and operational. Key Responsibilities Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on heavy-duty machinery and equipment. Diagnose and rectify mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults. Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance activities. Complete all relevant service documentation accurately and efficiently. Ensure work is completed in line with health & safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Work collaboratively with workshop and operational teams to minimise downtime. Participate in breakdown support and field service activities where required. Maintain a high standard of workmanship and customer service.Candidate Requirements Previous experience working as a Heavy Goods Engineer, Plant Fitter, Mechanical Engineer, Service Engineer, or in a similar engineering role. Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience working on heavy-duty machinery, industrial equipment, plant machinery, or related engineering products. Relevant engineering qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds, Apprenticeship or equivalent) are desirable. Full UK driving licence preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
