Setting Out Engineer Porth, South Wales £300 - £350 per day Long-Term / On-going Contract We are currently recruiting for an experienced Setting Out Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Porth. This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term freelance work on a busy site, with competitive day rates available depending on your experience, project background and whether you can provide your own setting out equipment. The Role * Carrying out all setting out duties on site. * Establishing and maintaining control points. * Ensuring works are delivered to specification and within required tolerances. * Producing and maintaining accurate as-built records. * Interpreting technical drawings and site documentation. * Working closely with site management and subcontractors. * Supporting quality assurance and resolving engineering issues as they arise. Requirements * Proven experience as a Setting Out Engineer. * Previous work on civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities or similar projects. * Competent in the use of surveying and setting out equipment. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Valid CSCS card. * Own setting out equipment advantageous and may command a higher day rate. What's On Offer * £300 - £350 per day depending on experience. * Higher rates available for engineers providing their own setting out equipment. * Long-term ongoing contract. * Immediate start available. * Potential for further project opportunities upon completion.
