SharePoint Consultant

Robert Half Technology are assisting an established publishing business to recruit a SharePoint Consultant on a contract basis. Hybrid working - London based. ASAP start. Minimum 3-month contract.

Role* The SharePoint Consultant will support the planning and delivery of large-scale migrations from Classic SharePoint to Modern SharePoint Online, ensuring minimal disruption and strong user outcomes.* Deliver content migrations using ShareGate and the Microsoft Migration Tool, including pre-stage migrations, delta migrations and cutover activities.* Work closely with stakeholders and technical teams to understand business requirements and ensure content, site structures, permissions and information architecture are effectively migrated.* Review and optimise SharePoint site architecture, navigation, metadata, document libraries and information architecture to improve usability and long-term governance.* Assess existing SharePoint Alerts and legacy processes, recommending and implementing Power Automate solutions where appropriate.* Configure and optimise SharePoint Online sites to ensure they are user-friendly, accessible and aligned with organisational standards.* Identify and resolve migration challenges, risks and technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of migration milestones.* Collaborate with Technology teams to ensure alignment with security, compliance and governance requirements.* Develop migration documentation, te...
