Job Description

We are seeking an Experienced & Skilled Sheet Metal Worker/Metal Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team.

The successful candidate will be competent in Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, and Ideally Aluminium MIG & TIG welding for fabricating metal components and assemblies, ensuring precision and quality in all work.

The majority of our work is Stainless Steel to a high standard including repolishing after welding.DutiesFolding and forming Lasered Parts to drawings and instructionsDrilling & tapping of componentsFabricating components using various welding methods, including mig & tig welding, to meet project specificationsUse hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble sheet metal and other materialsRead and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise fabrication to given tolerancesPerform measurements and calculations using fundamental math skills to verify dimensions and tolerancesAssist in the assembly of fabricated parts into finished products or subassembliesMaintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety protocolsConduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are metSome driving will be required on occasion to deliver to customers or collect jobsRequirementsProven experience in MIG & TIG welding, with a strong understanding of various welding techniques, good knowledge of pulsed tig welding would be an advantage.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment such as shears, presses, and grindersSolid knowledge of sheet metal work and fabrication processesMechanical knowledge relevant to assembly, fitting, and finishing of metal componentsAbility to read technical drawings and schematics accuratelyBasic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control purposesExperience with welding safety procedures and best practicesStrong attention to detail with the ability to produce precise work within tight tolerancesGood organisational skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a teamThis role is ideal for an Experienced individual who can add experience to the current team, and who are dedicated to producing Quality Products & Service. xkybehq A 6 month probationary period will apply.
