The Opportunity

Winsearch are working in partnership with a leading aerospace manufacturing business to recruit skilled Sheet Metal Workers to support ongoing production and programme demand.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a precision-driven environment where quality is paramount, working on thin gauge aluminium components to exacting aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Manufacture and form sheet metal components in line with engineering drawings and specifications

Carry out rubber press operations and hand forming techniques

Profile and finish parts post-forming to required tolerances

Perform wheeling and shaping of thin gauge aluminium components (majority of workload)

Ensure all work is completed to high-quality aerospace standards

Maintain a clean, safe working environment in line with 5S and HSE requirements

Work closely with production and quality teams to meet delivery targets

Requirements

Previous experience within an aerospace sheet metal environment

Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

Hands-on experience with:

• 
  
• Rubber press operations

Hand forming

Wheeling

Profiling and finishing formed parts

Experience working with thin gauge aluminium

Ability to work to tight tolerances and high-quality standards

Strong attention to detail and a right-first-time mindset
