Our client is an established civil engineering contractor based in Omagh. They have 2 exciting new opportunities for SHEQ Advisors to work on a variety of projects:

 

 - SHEQ Advisor - Permanent, both office-based in Omagh and field-based in surrounding counties. 

 - SHEQ Advisor - 12 month FTC, for projects in Dublin.

 

What you'll be doing

 - Champion a positive Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality culture across the business.

 - Carry out site inspections, audits and incident investigations, ensuring lessons learned are implemented.

 - Review and maintain risk assessments, method statements and SHEQ documentation.

 - Deliver engaging site inductions and coordinate SHEQ training for employees and contractors.

 - Support compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems.

 - Monitor SHEQ performance, maintain accurate records and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

 - Work collaboratively with project teams to provide practical advice and support on SHEQ matters.

 

What we're looking for

You'll be a confident communicator with a proactive approach and a genuine commitment to improving workplace safety.

 

You'll also have:

 - A NEBOSH Occupational Health & Safety Certificate (held for a minimum of two years).

 - At least 2 years' experience in a Health & Safety role.

 - Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 management systems.

 - Strong organisational, planning and problem-solving skills.

 - Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

 - A full, valid driving licence.

 

For the Permanent Omagh-based role - must have the right to work in UK and Ireland.

For the 12 month FTC - must have the right to work in Ireland.

 

 

Desirable:

 - Environmental and/or Quality qualifications.
