Shift Leader - Critical Environments | London | £60,000 A Shift Leader opportunity is available at a major client site in London, paying up to £60,000, working a 12-hour shift pattern covering nights and days. This is a hands-on operational role, working within a wider workspace/engineering team to deliver a resilient service across a critical environment. HV authorisation isn't essential, strong LV engineers with the right background are encouraged to apply. Key responsibilities: Operating all building systems competently and efficiently, including HV operations where required Complying with contract requirements and meeting/exceeding KPIs and SLAs Carrying out regular plant inspections, works inspections and audits Monitoring and operating BAS/BMS including HVAC, lighting, security, fire alarm and energy management systems Responding to system alerts and alarms diagnosing, resolving or escalating as needed Performing routine inspections and preventative maintenance on smart building tech and equipment Troubleshooting IoT devices, sensors, controllers and network connectivity issues Executing programming changes to building systems as directed Monitoring energy usage and implementing efficiency measures Documenting maintenance activity and technical issues via digital CMMS Coordinating vendors/contractors for specialist maintenance and repairs Responding to occupant comfort requests and technical support during shiftRequirements: City & Guilds Level 3 NVQ in electrical or mechanical discipline Experience within a Critical Engineering Facility Strong PC literacy, able to manage daily activity across BMS and other control/monitoring systems AP15 HV/LV, Confined Space AP, or Mechanical Pressure AP desirable (refresher training provided)Package: Up to £60,000 basic 12-hour shift pattern (days/nights) Comprehensive medical, dental & vision cover Paid parental leave at 100% salary for 6 months Strong overall benefits packageFor more information or to apply, please get in touch.
