Mechanical Shift Maintenance Technician

to join their established Engineering team. Reporting to the Engineering Team Leader, you will provide maintenance support across the site, ensuring plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently. The role will involve both planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Mechanical fault finding and repair of production equipment Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) activities Maintenance of conveyors, bearings, motors, gearboxes, and couplings Basic electrical fault finding and repairs Maintenance of site services, including compressed air, boilers, cooling towers, and refrigeration systems Supporting projects to improve reliability and reduce downtime About You Time-served Mechanical Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship Experience within a heavy manufacturing, industrial, or production environment Strong mechanical maintenance and fault-finding skills Basic electrical knowledge Safety-focused with a proactive approach Shift Pattern 38-hour week on a rotating Days, Back Shift, and Night Shift pattern (Monday to Friday), with paid breaks.
