Shot Blaster – Structural Steel Location: Medway City Estate, Rochester Pay: £13.80–£14.00 per hour Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate We are currently recruiting for an experienced Shot Blaster to join a busy structural steel warehouse based on Medway City Estate, Rochester.
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.
Key Responsibilities: Shot blasting structural steel to remove rust, scale, and surface contaminants.
Operating shot blasting equipment and a fire hose to clean steel components.
Preparing metal structures to a high-quality finish.
Working safely within a busy warehouse environment.
Maintaining excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
Carrying out manual handling duties as required.
Taking accurate measurements and using good numeracy skills.
Requirements: Minimum of 2 years' shot blasting experience.
Previous experience working with structural steel or metal.
Good attention to detail.
Strong numeracy skills for measurements.
Physically fit and able to undertake manual work.
Reliable with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. xwzovoh
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 2:00pm – 10:00pm (Choose the shift that best suits you.) This is an excellent opportunity offering an immediate start with the potential to secure a permanent position after a successful temporary period.
