Bus Fueller / Shunter Location: Leamington Spa Pay: £14.50 per hour Contract: Full-time Temporary, with opportunity to become Permanent Hours: Full-time shifts About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Bus Fueller / Shunter to join a busy and well-established Stagecoach depot in Leamington Spa. This is a key role within the depot, helping to ensure buses are safely positioned, fuelled and ready for service. You will be responsible for moving vehicles around the depot, parking them correctly and carrying out basic checks to ensure they are prepared for their daily operations. This is initially a full-time temporary position with a genuine opportunity to become permanent for the right person, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a long-term role within the transport industry. Key Responsibilities Safely shunt buses around the depot Position and park buses correctly within designated areas Fuel buses in line with operational requirements Carry out basic vehicle checks before and after moving vehicles Ensure buses are positioned and prepared ready for service Maintain a clean, tidy and organised depot environment Follow all depot health and safety procedures Work safely and efficiently as part of the wider depot team Skills & Experience Required Essential: Experience driving or manoeuvring larger vehicles is advantageous Ability to safely manoeuvre vehicles within a busy depot environment Good awareness of health and safety Reliable, punctual and hardworking Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Desirable: Previous experience as a Shunter or Fueller Previous experience moving buses, HGVs or other large vehicles 7.5-tonne driving experience Previous experience within a transport, logistics or depot environment What We Offer £14.50 per hour Full-time hours Temporary position with opportunity to become permanent Opportunity to build a long-term career within a well-established transport operation Regular and consistent work Full training and support provided Opportunity to gain valuable experience within a busy bus depot environment How to Apply If you have experience driving larger vehicles, working within a depot environment, or have previous experience as a Shunter/Fueller, we'd love to hear from you.
