Site Engineer

SITE / SETTING OUT ENGINEER Location: Falkirk September - Ongoing Long-Term Contract I’m currently recruiting for an experienced Site / Setting Out Engineer to join a major Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) / Substation project in Falkirk. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who can take ownership of the engineering side of the project, while also getting involved in the day-to-day running and coordination of the site. 🔧 THE ROLE WILL INCLUDE: ✅ Setting out works accurately and efficiently ✅ Site engineering and technical support ✅ Working from drawings, specifications and site information ✅ Checking levels, coordinates and dimensions ✅ Supporting construction teams with engineering requirements ✅ Monitoring works to ensure they are built to specification ✅ Liaising with site management, subcontractors and engineering teams ✅ Identifying and resolving site/engineering issues ✅ Assisting with the smooth day-to-day running of the site ✅ Maintaining high standards of health & safety, quality and site control 👷 WE’RE LOOKING FOR: ✅ Proven experience as a Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer ✅ Experience within substation, BESS, civils or electrical infrastructure ✅ Confident working from engineering drawings ✅ Strong setting-out and site engineering skills ✅ Able to work independently and take ownership ✅ Practical, hands-on approach to site work ✅ Good communication and organisational skills ✅ Someone who is happy to get stuck in and support the wider site team This is more than just a Site/Setting Out Engineer role — we're looking for an Engineer who can take responsibility, solve problems and help keep the site moving. 📩 Interested?
