Site Engineer

The Opportunity We are recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer / Setting Out Engineer to join a major civils and groundworks contractor delivering two large distribution centre buildings in Hinkley, Leicestershire. The overall project value is approximately £18 million and will involve extensive groundworks, foundations, drainage, reinforced concrete and external infrastructure. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced project team and work on a large-scale commercial development. The Role You will provide day-to-day engineering and setting out support across the project, working closely with the Site Manager, Project Manager and groundworks teams. Key Responsibilities * Setting out foundations, drainage, concrete works and external works. * Reading and interpreting engineering drawings. * Checking levels, coordinates and dimensions. * Providing engineering support to site teams and subcontractors. * Maintaining accurate QA and as-built records. * Assisting with inspections and quality control. * Identifying and resolving engineering issues on site. * Supporting the delivery of works to programme and specification.
