Site Engineer

Site Engineer | East Anglia We’re hiring for a Site Engineer to support the delivery of a major civil engineering infrastructure project in East Anglia. This is a site-based role involving setting out, surveying and coordinating day-to-day civil engineering activities. The Site Engineer will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, accurately, on time and to the required quality standards. Lodge accommodation can be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities for a Site Engineer * Carrying out accurate setting out using drawings, GPS and Leica Total Station equipment * Delivering civil works including roads, drainage, pavements, kerbs and concrete works * Completing surveying, as-built checks and dimensional control * Interpreting technical drawings, digital models, RAMS and ITPs * Coordinating daily site activities with subcontractors, supervisors and site management * Supporting planning, logistics and pre-construction activities * Preparing and reviewing QA and compliance documentation * Overseeing allocated works packages through to completion and handover Requirements * Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Section Engineer on major civil engineering or infrastructure projects * Essential experience in drainage, utilities diversions and earthworks * Experience using Leica Total Stations and GPS equipment * Strong understanding of construction processes, health & safety and quality assurance * CSCS card * Degree, HNC or HND in Civil Engineering or a related discipline desirable * Energy sector experience advantageous but not essential What’s On Offer for a Site Engineer * Salary + car allowance * Lodge accommodation available * Opportunity to work on a major infrastructure project in East Anglia * Long-term opportunity with an established civil engineering contractor
