Site Manager – Groundworks Package Location: Barkham, Wokingham Rate: £265–£325 per day (DOE) Job Type: Contract Start Date: ASAP Site Manager – Groundworks | Commercial Project An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established and reputable groundworks subcontractor on a commercial project based near Barkham, Wokingham This is an immediate requirement for a Site Manager with a strong groundworks background who can confidently oversee site operations, manage supervisors and ensure the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. The successful candidate will be joining a major subcontractor with a strong reputation across the industry and an excellent pipeline of upcoming work, offering the potential for long-term opportunities. Key Responsibilities * Oversee the day-to-day running of the site. * Manage site supervisors and subcontractor activities. * Ensure works are completed safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. * Coordinate labour, plant and materials effectively. * Maintain high standards of health and safety across site. * Liaise with the project team and ensure smooth site operations. * Monitor progress and address any site issues as they arise. Essential Requirements * SMSTS. * CSCS Card. * Proven experience as a Site Manager working for a groundworks subcontractor. * Previous experience delivering commercial groundworks projects. * Strong leadership and communication skills. * Ability to manage multiple site activities and maintain programme delivery.
