Site Manager working on a brand-new affordable housing development, responsible for the delivery of 70 new homes. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Site Manager to join our growing regional business. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious construction professional to play a key role in the successful delivery of high-quality mixed-tenure residential developments. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be a confident leader and excellent communicator, capable of building strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, local authorities, and internal stakeholders at all levels of the business.

Site Manager - About you



  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential housebuilding or mixed-tenure residential developments

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of timber frame construction

  • Thorough understanding of Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) and their implementation on residential developments

  • Good working knowledge of Sustainable Drainage Approval Body (SAB) requirements and approval processes

  • Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work packages

  • Ability to lead meetings and provide clear updates to clients and senior management

  • Strong understanding of construction health and safety legislation and best practice
