Site Manager

M&E Site Managers required – School Projects Location: Bethnal Green & Isle of Dogs, London Sector: Construction Job Type: Temporary / Contract We are currently recruiting for experienced M&E Site Managers to work on two school projects in East London. Both projects are M&E-heavy, so candidates must have a strong mechanical and electrical background and proven experience managing M&E works on live construction projects. We have two positions available: * 1 x M&E Site Manager – Bethnal Green * 1 x M&E Site Manager – Isle of Dogs The Role As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of the project, with a particular focus on the M&E elements. You will be working closely with subcontractors, the project management team and other site personnel to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Requirements The successful candidate will have: * Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally on M&E-heavy projects * Strong Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) background * Previous experience working on school, education or similar live-site projects is highly desirable * SMSTS * First Aid * Enhanced DBS – essential due to the school environment * Strong knowledge of site health & safety requirements * Excellent communication and organisational skills * The ability to manage M&E subcontractors and coordinate works effectively * A strong understanding of construction programmes, RAMS and site procedures Important Enhanced DBS is essential for these positions. Candidates without an Enhanced DBS will not be considered due to the nature of the projects.
