Site Manager – Electrical Rollout / Night Works
Location: Nationwide – UK travel required
Rate: £350–£400 per shift + travel & accommodation
Hours: Night shifts, approximately 5 nights per week
Contract: Ongoing / Long-Term Programme

We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to support a major nationwide electrical rollout programme.
The programme has successfully completed its initial trial sites and is now moving into full delivery. Phase 1 consists of approximately 140 sites, followed by a further 141 sites in Phase 2, with additional work planned over the following 18 months.
This is a hands-on site-based role managing electrical works carried out predominantly during night-time shutdown periods. You will work alongside an Electrician, with a two-person team allocated to each site.
The Role As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of works on site, ensuring activities are completed in accordance with the agreed programme, RAMS and client requirements.
Typical works will include:
Managing electrical works across multiple sites nationwide
Supervising night-time site activities and ensuring safe systems of work are followed
Coordinating electrical isolation and dead-working activities
Supporting the connection and disconnection of generators
Overseeing the relocation of CTs
Installation of associated tray work and COP boxes
Ensuring all works are completed safely and to the required quality standard
Managing site documentation, briefings and daily records
Liaising with the project team and client representatives
Ensuring sites are left safe, clean and ready for handback following completion
All primary materials required for the works will be provided.
What We're Looking For You should have:
Valid SMSTS
Experience managing electrical or utility works
Good understanding of LV electrical installations and safe working practices
Experience managing works in live operational environments
Strong health & safety awareness
Ability to supervise a small delivery team independently
Good communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel nationwide and work approximately 5 nights per week
Experience with LV operations, generator connection/disconnection, CT installations or multi-site electrical rollout programmes would be highly advantageous.
The Programme The work is expected to involve approximately one site per shift, with individual site activities typically taking around 8 hours.
The role offers £350–£400 per shift, with travel and accommodation covered in addition to the shift rate.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager looking for consistent, long-term contract work on a high-volume national programme.
